Ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral
Etchmiadzin, Armenia

Just down the road from the headquarters of the Armenian Church are the ruins of Zvartnots. Built in the 7th century and destroyed in the 10th, the site was reconstructed in the early 1900′s. Historians are still arguing over what the original design looked like but they part they all agree on was that it was definitely round.
