Monemvasiá is one of those strikingly beautiful spots that is almost too picturesque. Adding to the allure is it’s location on the sea-ward side of a promontory completely hidden from the mainland. The little village of narrow alleys, lovingly restored villas and Byzantine churches clings to the cliff-side giving every window a sea-view.
